Leirah Jordan, B.S Biology
Leirah Jordan is a public health leader with progressive experience in infectious disease response, antimicrobial stewardship, and long-term care. She spent several years at the Chicago Department of Public Health, where she supported healthcare-associated infection (HAI) prevention initiatives and contributed to rapid-response efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. In her current role at CIMPAR as a Program Manager for antimicrobial stewardship programs, she leads provider recruitment and coordinates educational programming. Her work emphasizes data-informed decision-making, health equity, and strengthening public health systems and programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health.
