Dr. Amir Moradi, MD, MBA is a leading specialist in facial, plastic, and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Moradi is double board certified in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. He is an accomplished and compassionate plastic surgeon known for employing the most advanced surgical techniques and for the development of groundbreaking new procedures.

After completing medical school at University of California, San Diego, he continued his medical training with a surgical residency at Duke University Medical Center.  Wanting to further his understanding of all aspects of the aesthetic industry, he achieved an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

He is a member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the California Society for Facial Plastic Surgery.  His interest in the aesthetic industry has led him to serve on several committees for the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery including Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Industry Relations and Engagement, and Emerging Technologies.  He also currently serves as treasurer for the California Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and has a seat on their Board of Directors.

Dr. Moradi has been recognized and featured in multiple aesthetic and medical journals and is the recipient of multiple research grants and funding for his studies and innovative work in the industry. He has been involved in numerous clinical trials for leading aesthetic products including dermal fillers, toxins, post procedure care and energy based devices (body contouring, cryolipolysis, ultrasound, lasers).

In addition to his Clinical Research practice, he also serves as a consultant to leading companies in the aesthetic industry including Abbvie, Galderma, Teoxane, Merz, Alastin, Glopharma, Evolus, Loreal, Symatase, and Skin Medica.  His expertise lends to his passion for teaching.  Dr. Moradi serves as faculty at leading aesthetic conferences including MAC, VCS, AAFRS Fall Meeting, IMCAS, and the Global Aesthetics Conference.  On a local level, Dr. Moradi enjoys his appointment as a Volunteer Faculty Instructor in the surgery department of University of California, San Diego.
