Dr. Andrew S. Frankel is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in private practice in Beverly Hills, California, where his practice focuses on rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. He serves as a Fellowship Director for the AAFPRS, and has been doing so since 2006. Dr. Frankel serves on the Board of Directors for the California Pacific Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and has held many committee positions within the AAFPRS since 1996. Dr. Frankel has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals and lectured nationally and internationally on different facets of facial plastic surgery, occasionally as the Key-Note speaker. He was an investigator for the FDA Clinical Trials of both Restylane and Juvederm, and was a consultant for the Hollywood special effects company Lola Visual Effects, where he advised on the ways in which aging affects appearance. He is currently the chief medical officer for BEMY Cosmetics, Inc., a start-up company applying mRNA technology for production of cosmetic products. Dr. Frankel previously served as Associate Clinical Professor at University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine and as clinical faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles within the departments of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Frankel received is medical degree from the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the same institution.
