Dr. Hassouneh is a lecturer with the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto and a PhD Candidate in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University. He has private practice at Eye Face Institute, Toronto and Dubai HealthCare city, Dubai with focus on facial plastic surgery. He previous co-chair and organizer of the Middle East Otolaryngology - Facial Plastic Surgery Academy Conference and current co-chair and organizer of Dubai Face conference taking place annually in Dubai.

Dr. Hassouneh has co-authored several publications and book chapters including JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America, Laryngoscope and Sataloff’s Comprehensive Textbook of Otolaryngology. He is active in clinical research with multicenter collaborations in North America and the Middle East.
