Corey Maas, M.D. F.A.C.S.

Dr. Corey S. Maas is a highly decorated facial plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. After years of studying at prestigious medical institutions, Dr. Maas completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. His skill and dedication to the craft eventually led him to serve at UCSF as the Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for more than 11 years. In 2001 he left UCSF as full-time faculty and founded the The Maas Clinic for Aesthetic and Facial Plastic Surgery, The Research Center at the Maas Clinic and is the Medical Director of The Appearance Care Center, a state-of-the-art medical day spa with the latest in technology and a skilled nursing staff. His highly successful clinics are in the stunning Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco frequented by patients seeking natural and beautiful results in their journey to looking their best.
To date, Dr. Maas has earned numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to the facial plastic surgery industry. The notable Sir Harold Delf Gilles Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is just one of these awards. He is a published author and has authored and co-authored more than 100 articles and written numerous book chapters and been principal investor on over 30 clinical trials that have aided in the advancement of his specialty.
Dr. Maas believes that facial plastic surgery is both a science and an art. As such, he frequently spends his time in the pursuit of improving that artistic ability. You can often find him painting, drawing, and playing the guitar. Dr. Maas is also a pilot and athlete who enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and golfing with his wife and two sons whenever the opportunity arises.
