Hello! My name is Erin Hoover. I grew up part of a large family in Cleveland, Ohio. I went to The Ohio State University for college and medical school earning me the title of "Double Buckeye." I then moved to Texas to join the University of Texas Southwestern General Surgery Residency. I have completed my PGY-3 clinical year and am currently a clinical research resident with the University of Texas Southwestern Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. I plan to become a Cardiothoracic surgeon. Outside of work, I am a cat mom and am very active. I love to play field hockey, explore new restaurants and coffee shops, and go on backcountry hiking and camping trips.
