Dr. Christine Alvarado is a first-year Thoracic Surgery fellow at the University of Colorado. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She recently finished her General Surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University, where she also conducted a two-year research fellowship with the Division of Thoracic & Esophageal Surgery.

Her clinical interests include thoracic oncology and foregut disease. She plans to pursue a career in academic General Thoracic Surgery, with a continued focus on teaching and research.
