Dr. Sahar Saddoughi is a thoracic surgeon and researcher at the Mayo Clinic, specializing in lung transplantation. She is a Mayo Clinic alumna and has been instrumental in expanding the donor pool for lung transplants. Dr. Saddoughi's research focuses on donor lung assessment, normothermic regional perfusion (NRP), and novel transplant therapies. Her work has led to successful lung transplants for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and other lung conditions.
