OCD Master Class

This activity equips clinicians with foundational knowledge and skills in ERP for OCD, aligning with their scope to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of mental health professionals (psychologists, clinicians)

Learning Objectives

  • Accurately identify and differentiate Harm OCD, scrupulosity, and relationship OCD from other symptoms and diagnoses and implement targeted exposure interventions for clients with these presentations.
  • Recognize the similarities and differences between eating-related symptoms of OCD and eating disorders to provide accurate differential diagnoses.
  • Understand the nuances of using exposure therapy for eating disorders and OCD and how to adapt techniques for each condition.
  • Identify the unique challenges of treating OCD within the LGBTQ+ population and apply culturally competent strategies in treatment
