Dr. Morgan A. Sendzischew Shane, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and the director of the UHealth Comprehensive Women’s Health Alliance. Dr. Shane received her master’s in clinical and translational science and investigation from the University of Miami where she also completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship in gastroenterology. She has a clinical interest in motility and women’s health, with focused research in the area of pelvic floor dysfunction as well disorders of gut brain interaction. She currently serves as the Interim Director of Motility at the University of Miami. She also has an interest in medical education on all levels and currently serves as the program director for the gastroenterology fellowship program.
