Dr. Joseph Sleiman is an Associate Staff physician in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Cleveland Clinic. Originally from Lebanon, he moved to the United States in 2018 for medical training and developed a strong interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He completed his internal medicine residency in Cleveland, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and advanced IBD training at the Cleveland Clinic. His research focuses on AI-driven imaging and radiomics for stricturing Crohn’s disease. Dr. Sleiman is also actively involved in medical education and mentorship through various platforms, including EBMED, MondayNightIBD, YOGI IBD, and MENA GI. He also serves as the social media editor for Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology Journal.
