Daniela Crousillat, MD, FACC

Dr. Daniela Crousillat is a cardiologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She is the founder and director of the Women’s Heart Program and the Cardio-Obstetrics Program at Tampa General Hospital. She specializes in the cardiovascular care of women throughout their lifespan with a particular interest in cardiovascular disease in pregnancy and the role of pregnancy complications on future cardiovascular health. She is a clinical lead for the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative (FPQC) PROMPT Initiative on maternal hypertension and is engaged in research at the intersection of maternal cardiovascular disease and health equity.
Dr. Crousillat completed her undergraduate training at the University of Florida and is a medical graduate of New York University’s School of Medicine. She completed her residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and advanced echocardiography training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
