Dr. Durkin’s passion for training stems from his deep understanding of the current aesthetics industry, and what its future holds. With over 13,000 new jobs being created each year in the United States market alone, Dr. Durkin’s passion for comprehensive and safe trainings has never been more important. His goal is always to meet trainees where they are at, and allow them to leave with a deeper understanding of aesthetic topics, as well as a greater confidence in their abilities. Participants bringing that knowledge back to their communities, practices, and patients is what defines success in his eyes.
In the countless trainings he has performed in the past, Dr. Durkin's main goal has trained the same: when focusing on safety and improving patient outcomes, he teaches training participants to seek success rather than avoid failure. This, he says, has made all of the difference in the careers of the many whom he has trained and mentored over the years. No matter how long an individual has been in the aesthetics space, this rarely-seen mentality shift can improve their confidence and abilities, and thus their patient’s experiences and outcomes.
Dr. Durkin lives in Vero Beach, Florida with his wife, Dr. Roxanne Engel Durkin, and his beautiful young daughter, Illyana. Beyond his daughter, he is the proud father of two Jack Russell Terriers, and is both blessed and proud to call Vero Beach his home.
