Lip Restoration Across the Ages Hands-On Course

Grounded in anatomical science and driven by aesthetic refinement, this lip regeneration course explores the dynamic structural changes of the lips and perioral region — from youthful volume loss to mature deflation and dermal degradation. Participants will master nuanced injection techniques tailored to diverse lip presentations, including thin, asymmetrical, septated, and aged lips.

 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of dentists, nurses, physicians, physician assistants.

 

Learning Objectives

 

  • Identify the different layers, facial anatomy, how the physiology and function of the anatomical structures indicate diagnosis and lip treatment with dermal filler at various ages.
  • Review advanced pathophysiology of  the lip anatomical structure and its current application based on peer-reviewed, evidence-based research, to indications which lip restoration based on the age of the  patient for treatment would benefit the patient. 
  • Identify key components, observations, and questions that are part of a thorough medical history for a patient who will receive lip restoration injections.
  • Educate the patient on pre and post procedures and expectations when receiving dermal filler lip injection treatment. 
  • Identify appropriate medical documentation for lip injection with dermal filler procedures.
  • Discuss complications and management for  lip dermal filler injections
