Diego Maselli, MD, FCCP, ATSF

Diego J. Maselli, MD, FCCP, ATSF is a Professor of Medicine in the Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. He is originally from Guatemala. Dr. Maselli completed his residency in Internal Medicine in UT Health Houston, TX in 2009. In 2012 he completed fellowships in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care at UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX, remaining as part of the faculty. In 2016, he started the Severe Asthma Program at the University Health System and UT Health San Antonio. Since 2022, he serves as the Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Diseases & Critical Care at UT Health San Antonio. Dr Maselli's has published more than 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts and his research focuses on airways diseases: severe asthma, bronchiectasis, and advanced COPD.
