David Cho, MD, MBA

Dr. David Cho is a general cardiologist who practices at UCLA Health Burbank. He specializes in both the prevention and management of heart disease, partnering with patients to improve their overall health and quality of life.
Dr. Cho received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular & Cell Biology. He earned both his Medical Degree and Master of Business Administration Degree from a combined program at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He returned to California to complete his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine.
In addition to treating patients with evidence-based care, Dr. Cho serves as a physician informaticist, working to improve how healthcare is delivered through better use of data, digital tools, and integrated clinical systems.
He also serves as co-director of UCLA Health’s Cardiology Quality Program—a population health initiative focused on improving cardiovascular disease outcomes by ensuring eligible patients receive life-prolonging and quality-of-life enhancing therapies.
Dr. Cho remains committed to the academic mission of medicine by teaching medical students and residents, and through national leadership, including his past role as Chair of the American College of Cardiology’s Healthcare Innovation Council.
He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT), Internal Medicine, and Clinical Informatics.
