Jamal S. Rana MD, PhD, FACC is Chair of Medical Specialties and Interventional Services at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, Adjunct Investigator with Division of Research and Professor, Department of Clinical Science, Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. He did is research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. He has a long-standing research interest in preventive cardiology with more than 275 publications. Areas of his research interest range from cardio metabolic disease, prevention strategies in large populations, lipids, polygenic risk to cardiac imaging. He is past President of California American College of Cardiology.
