Philip Gideon, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FAIM, FASE is an Assistant Professor and faculty echocardiographer for the University of Arizona Medical Center Phoenix and the UA Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program.  Dr. Gideon is primary and imaging sub investigator for multiple cardiac structural trials through the University of Arizona.  He serves as a structural cardiologist and echocardiographer consultant for Banner Heart Institute and provides interventional imaging services. Personal research interest includes the study of echocardiographic technologies guiding the understanding of prognostication and care of patients with mitral valve prolapse.
