Amy Sheer, MD, MPH, Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and specializes in primary care, chronic disease management, and obesity medicine. Dr. Sheer is the founder and Program Director of the UF Obesity Medicine Fellowship and is actively involved in medical education, clinical care, and research focused on obesity treatment, cardiometabolic health, and improving patient access to evidence-based therapies.
