Dr. Mahmoud Abdalla is a recent graduate of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at AdventHealth Tampa, where he served as Chief Medical Resident and Vice President of the West Florida Division of the Resident Association. Following graduation, he joined the program as teaching faculty. His quality-improvement project evaluates a simplified approach to assessing guideline-directed medical therapy in patients with heart failure, with the goal of improving treatment optimization and reducing hospital readmissions. Dr. Abdalla plans to pursue fellowship training in cardiology, with particular interests in interventional cardiology and heart failure.
