Neelima Katukuri, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Neelima Katukuri is a highly accomplished Interventional and Structural Cardiologist, currently serving as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and practicing in Cleveland, Ohio. She is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Geriatrics, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. She earned her medical degree from NTR university of health sciences and completed advanced training in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Advanced interventional/ structural training at leading institutions in the United States.
Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Katukuri has served in academic and clinical leadership roles, including faculty appointments at UCF College of Medicine, Wayne State University, and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She has contributed extensively to cardiovascular research through peer-reviewed publications, national presentations, and leadership roles within the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. She is passionate about mentoring future physicians, advancing cardiovascular care, and supporting community health initiatives both in the United States and India.
Dr. Katukuri is actively involved in leadership roles, including serving as a board member for the Florida Chapter of the ACC and the Physician Society of Central Florida. She has completed the Florida Medical Association Leadership Academy and the JACC Peer Review Certificate Program, enhancing her expertise in advocacy, strategic leadership, and cardiovascular research.
Dr. Katukuri is an editorial board member for the Indian Journal of Cardiovascular Disease in Women and has served as a guest reviewer for journals such as J SCAI, Journal of Women’s Health, and Heart India. She is also an advisory board member for SCAI and ReCor Medical.
She serves on multiple national committees, including the ACC Federal Section Council, SCAI Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee, and the NCDR Cath PCI Committee.
