Jake E. Turrentine, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Chief Medical Officer of QualDerm Partners, where he provides clinical and strategic leadership across a multi-state dermatology network. He practices at Hickory Dermatology/Skin Surgery Center in North Carolina and has served as Medical Director of the Hickory Dermatology Research Center and Principal Investigator for an active clinical research program, leading numerous Phase 2–4 trials in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, and skin cancer. Dr. Turrentine completed his dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident at UT Southwestern Medical Center, following his MD from the Medical College of Georgia. A former Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Augusta University, he has authored peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters, served as Deputy Editor of Dermatitis, and remains active in national societies including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
