After pursuing his dream of being a professional baseball player
ended, David went back to school and launched his career as
a clinical laboratory scientist at US Labs in Irvine, CA. There
he played a key role in developing their genetics division which
eventually lead to the company being acquired by LabCorp in
2005. Since then he has been a part of several biotech companies
including, ChromaVision Medical Systems (now Clarient), Alliance
Medical Products, and MP Biomedical before his work as a
consultant and then CTO of Cellmyx. He is currently the head of his
own medical device development and consulting firm. David has
been a part of the design and development of patents in the field of
clinical diagnostics and in adipose tissue harvesting and processing
for surgical grafting, including products like intelliFat and his current
product www.maps-kit.com. He carries extensive knowledge in
the field of medical devices and regenerative medicine. He has
published over 20 peer-reviewed abstracts with colleagues regarding
the use of growth factors and adipose-derived cells in regenerative
aesthetics and medicine.
