Dr. Diego Ruiz Dasilva is an Ivy League–trained dermatologist at Forefront Dermatology in Virginia Beach, VA, where he serves as a director of CME. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Born in Brazil and raised in South Florida, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and completed both medical school and dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ruiz Dasilva specializes in chronic pruritus, inflammatory skin diseases, psychodermatology and dysesthesia, skin of color, skin cancer, and aesthetic dermatology. He is actively involved in research and has published extensively in these areas of interest. He is also the author of Dermatology Simplified, a comprehensive textbook on general dermatology.
