These programs have become national and international templates for women-centered cardiovascular care. While at MGH, Dr. Wood held the inaugural Cathy E. Minehan Chair in Cardiovascular Disease in Women.
A former Associate Chief of Cardiology for Diversity and Health Equity at MGH and Vice President/Chief Physician Executive of the Lee Health Heart Institute, Dr. Wood has also held major national leadership roles within the American College of Cardiology, including Trustee, Chair of the Board of Governors, and Chair of several strategic committees.
