Marnie Schilken, MPH

Marnie possesses 25 years of experience in program management, public health, leadership and strategic planning and has held positions with nonprofits in the U.S. and Latin America, the federal government, and large Medicaid/Medicare health plans. Most recently as Manager of Administration and Special Projects at the UNiversity of Pittsburgh, Marnie provides support for the Vice Chancellor for Science Policy and Research Strategies and other leaders within the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research. Prior to Pitt, Marnie served as the Chief Program Officer at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, where she oversaw the program areas that provide food and resource assistance throughout the Food Bank’s 11-county service area in southwestern Pennsylvania. Marnie holds a Master's of Public Health from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.
