Cheryl Hunter-Marston, MSN, CNS, DNP
Cheryl began her education journey at Stanford University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology. She earned a M.S. in a Medical Microbiology at UCLA/California State University, Dominguez Hills. Cheryl then decided to go to medical school and completed three and a half years at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington.
When she left her medical training she decided to become a nurse to pay back her medical school loans thus her healthcare journey continued completing a Master of Science in Nursing and simultaneously a Clinical Nurse Specialist certification in Integrative Health Care Practices. During this time, Cheryl also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine.
She will complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in the Grand Canyon University’s accelerated post-MSN advanced nurse practice program.
Cheryl formerly worked for the California Department of Public Health’s Maternal Child and Adolescent Health Division. Primarily she is the MCAH clinical liaison for the contracted scope of work in the development of provider toolkits.
Cheryl after retiring from the CDPH in December 2025 she restarted her Agape Integrative Health Care Consulting business.
