Jennifer Capla, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon based in New York City and is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital. She is a graduate of Columbia College, where she earned her degree cum laude, and she received her medical degree with honors from the New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Capla completed her residency at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Medical Center and pursued specialized fellowship training in body contouring after weight loss surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This focused training has made her a recognized specialist in massive weight loss body contouring, a field in which she has both published extensive research and authored book chapters.
