Leslie Howard, Esq., is the co-founder and managing partner of Cohen Howard, a law firm based in Little Silver, New Jersey, that specializes in representing out-of-network healthcare providers. With over 25 years of experience in the New Jersey and New York bars, she focuses on increasing reimbursements from commercial insurance companies and third-party administrators.

She is an expert in ERISA and state healthcare regulations, using her background to help medical practices overcome insurance industry barriers. Before founding her current firm, she worked in several legal niches, including insurance litigation at the national firm Anderson Kill Olick & Oshinsky, as well as real estate and immigration law.

Her passion for healthcare advocacy is deeply personal, rooted in her own experiences navigating the insurance system for her family. This drive has led her to become a frequent speaker at medical society events, where she educates providers on out-of-network legislation and revenue recovery.

She earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law and is a graduate of Columbia College. She resides in Little Silver with her husband and two children.
