When SCAD Turns Catastrophic: Multimodality Imaging in Cardiogenic Shock Management

This series will review complicated cases, share knowledge and increase awareness of different care models.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who treat and manage cardiovascular diseases.

Learning Objectives

  • Review left main coronary artery SCAD leading to AMI cardiogenic shock. 
  • Discuss diagnosis and management, as well as the role, of multidisciplinary teams in cardiogenic shock management.
  • Discuss the role of echo, CT, and IVUS imaging in determining the diagnosis of and revascularization strategies in SCAD.
