Jamie Jacob, PharmD, BCIDP

Dr. Jacob is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Manager for the Illinois Department of Public Health Division of Patient Safety & Quality. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Christiana Care Health System and a PGY2 infectious diseases residency at New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center. She leads statewide efforts to promote antimicrobial stewardship through policy development, cross-sector partnerships, and data-driven initiatives. Dr. Jacob champions antimicrobial stewardship as a public health priority and works to advance equitable access to healthcare across Illinois.
