Mary "Ellen" Acree is an Infectious Diseases physician at Endeavor Health and the Medical Director for Antimicrobial Stewardship for the NorthShore Hospitals within the Endeavor Heath System. Ellen graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in 2009 and has been at NorthShore since completing her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency and Adult & Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship training at University of Chicago in 2017. Ellen, along with other members of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, had the privilege of participating in the PALASE collaborative (Partnering Acute and Long-Term Care to Advance Antimicrobial Stewardship Efforts) in 2025 and currently.
