Ryan Moenster, Pharm.D., FIDSA, BCIDP

Ryan is a professor of pharmacy practice at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and an infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist at the VA St. Louis Health Care System. In his role at the VA Ryan serves as the co-pharmacy director of the VA’s antimicrobial stewardship program and has been the program director for the PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at the VA St. Louis since 2014. Some of the topics Ryan teaches at the College of Pharmacy include Clinical Introduction to Antibiotics, Skin and Skin Structure Infections and Bone and Joint Infections, Infective Endocarditis, and Antimicrobial Resistance. His research interests at the VA have revolved around optimizing treatment for bone and joint infections and the clinical application of pharmacokinetics. Ryan is also a host for Breakpoints, the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists podcast.
