Sandra Naegele, PharmD, BCIDP, BCPS

Dr. Naegele is a clinical pharmacist in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship in the Endeavor Health System in the Chicago metropolitan area, Illinois. She is the pharmacist co-lead for the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program for Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Skokie Hospitals. She received her PharmD from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Central Texas Veterans Health Care System and a PGY-2 infectious diseases residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center. She has developed effective workflows to reduce Clostridiodes difficile infections, implemented strategies to optimize therapy for gram-negative bacteremia, enjoys precepting, and is an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) antimicrobial stewardship committee.
