Kristen Clark, DVM, MPH, DACVPM

Dr. Kristen Clark holds her BS in Zoology and DVM from Iowa State University, her MPH from the University of Minnesota, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. In addition to working in private veterinary practice, she previously served as an epidemiologist and the foodborne outbreak response coordinator with the Iowa Department of Public Health. She then served in a number of leadership roles as a public health veterinarian at Iowa State University, including most recently as the University’s Public Health Coordinator where she coordinated campus public health operations. In 2023, she began serving in her current role as the Director of the Minnesota One Health Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative (MOHASC) with the Minnesota Department of Health. In this role, Dr. Clark provides leadership and expertise on antimicrobial resistance and collaborates with leaders in human, animal, and environmental health to promote a One Health approach to antimicrobial stewardship. She also recently joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, Division of Environmental Health Sciences.
