Michael Paloski, DO, MBA
Dr. Michael D. Paloski, DO, MBA, is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon with OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he has practiced since 2012. He specializes in pediatric orthopedic care with clinical interests in spinal deformity, trauma, neuromuscular conditions, and pediatric foot and hand disorders. Dr. Paloski also serves as Medical Director of Pediatric Orthopaedics for Novant Health’s Greater Charlotte Market.
Dr. Paloski completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine after completing his orthopedic surgery residency with the OhioHealth Hospital System in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, an MBA from Franklin University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University. He also completed a Science of Clinical Investigation Certificate through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Paloski is actively involved in academic medicine and physician education. He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute and as a Clinical Preceptor for Wake Forest School of Medicine. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations focused on pediatric orthopedic trauma, scoliosis, spinal deformity, and complex pediatric musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Paloski is an active member of several national professional organizations, including the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and the Scoliosis Research Society, where he has served on multiple committees related to education, trauma, and practice management.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Paloski enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Ethan and Jonathan.
