Dr. Tyagi received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi.  He went to medical school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.  He completed General Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City.  He competed Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania  in Philadelphia.  He served as faculty at the University of Kentucky from 2017-2026.  In July 2026, he joins Sanger Heart and Vascular Institue, Atrium Carolina's Medical Center, Wake Forest School of Medicine, Charlotte, NC.
