Carol Ann Williamson, MSN, RN is the Operating Room Manager at Carolina Center for Specialty Surgery, where she has been a dedicated member of the team for nearly 18 years. Throughout her career, she has embraced progressive leadership opportunities, serving in leadership roles for the past 12 years and as Operating Room Manager for the last two years.

As a Master of Science in Nursing–prepared registered nurse, Carol is passionate about advancing perioperative excellence through leadership, patient safety, quality improvement, and staff development. She is committed to fostering a collaborative culture that supports exceptional surgical care and outstanding patient outcomes.

Carol is an active member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA). She is knowledgeable in the application of ANSI/AAMI standards and evidence-based practices that promote quality and safety in the perioperative setting. Carol is honored to share her experience and insights as a guest speaker at this symposium.
