Somatic Essentials: Core Techniques for Better Clinical Results
This course introduces foundational somatic techniques that support nervous system regulation, body awareness, and patient-centered care. Nurses, including RNs, NPs, and CNSs, will learn how somatic approaches can be integrated into clinical practice to support patients experiencing stress, trauma-related symptoms, and chronic pain. Emphasis is placed on safe, non-invasive strategies that align with nursing scope and enhance therapeutic communication and patient engagement. The course supports nurses in applying evidence-informed, holistic approaches to complement conventional care and improve patient outcomes.

Criteria for Success
To obtain credit, you must participate in the entire activity. Partial credit is not awarded. Complete the post test and evaluation. You must receive a 70% or more on the post test to pass. The Certificate of Completion is immediately available for download after submitting your evaluation. It will remain in your profile transcript for future retrieval if needed. It can be found under My Account > My Activities > Completed Activities.
