DR. SARAH VICKERY 

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATIONS & TRANSLATIONAL MEDIA

RESEARCH & INNOVATION, THE ESTÉE LAUDER COMPANIES 

Sarah Vickery, PhD, leads the Global Scientific Communications & Translational Media departments for the Estée Lauder Companies Research & Innovation and has been recognized as Senior Estée Lauder Companies Fellow in acknowledgement of her deep scientific and technical communications expertise. In this role, she develops strategic corporate and branded credentialing strategies, leads dermatology relationships, and spearheads new partnerships with academic research and science media institutions. She has a passion for scientific storytelling and for highlighting the achievements of women in STEM. Dr. Vickery serves as judge for both the Nature Awards for Inspiring Women in Science and the Estée Lauder Epigenetics Fellowship for PhD students at the UC Irvine Center for Epigenetics & Metabolism. Sarah has a dual degree in English Literature and Chemistry, and received her PhD in BioAnalytical Chemistry, for which she studied biological systems at the nanometer scale with near-field optics techniques.
