Roger Ho, MD, MS, MPH, FAAD
Roger S. Ho, MD, MS, MPH, FAAD, is Associate Professor in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and President of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York. A nationally recognized dermatologist, educator, and speaker, Dr. Ho specializes in psoriasis and men's dermatology, with a particular research focus on the systemic comorbidities associated with psoriasis.
Dr. Ho earned his combined Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, followed by both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his dermatology residency training at the University of Pittsburgh.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ho has combined clinical excellence with a deep commitment to advancing dermatologic education. He served for a decade as Director of Resident Education for the NYU Dermatology Residency Program, helping shape the training of hundreds of future dermatologists. He has directed the NYU Live Patient Viewing Conference, chaired the Live Patient Viewing Conference at the Atlantic Dermatological Conference, and most recently served as the Overall Chair of the 2026 Atlantic Dermatological Conference. He is widely recognized for his contributions to resident and continuing medical education and is a frequent invited lecturer at regional and national meetings.
Dr. Ho has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in the field of psoriasis, particularly focusing on its associated comorbidities and broader health implications, including depression, suicidality, chronic kidney disease, and other systemic manifestations of psoriatic disease. His work has helped advance understanding of psoriasis as a systemic disease and has informed clinical care for patients across diverse practice settings.
In addition to his academic and educational leadership, Dr. Ho maintains an active clinical practice at NYU Langone Health, where he cares for patients with complex inflammatory skin disease and disorders affecting men's health.
