Mary Elliott is a physician associate with New Haven Rheumatology, a private practice with offices in Guilford, Milford and Hamden.  She earned her MMSc from the Yale Physician Assistant Program in 2021.  She also holds a PhD in English from Boston College and BA in English from Yale University.  She was a recipient of the Rheumatology Research Foundation’s Mentored Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Award for Workforce Expansion in 2023.  Outside of clinic, she has enjoyed teaching rheumatology at the Quinnipiac PA Program, precepting for the Yale School of Nursing, speaking at multiple events and conferences, and serving as the northeast region representative for Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers (RhAPP).  In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, hiking, and open water swimming.
