Nathaniel Jellinek, MD, FAAD, FACMS

Nathaniel Jellinek, MD, FAAD, FACMS, graduated college from Brown University and earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. He completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine followed by a Fellowship there in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Nail Diseases under the direction of Mary Maloney, MD.
Dr. Jellinek is nationally recognized as a leader in Mohs surgery, cutaneous reconstruction, and nail diseases. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both Dermatology and Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and has served on the Board of Directors of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He was Fellowship Director for ten years for an ACGME-approved Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship program. He is the immediate past-president of the Council for Nail Disorders and recipient of the 2022 Onychologist of the Year Award. In addition, he has served as an associate editor of the American Academy of Dermatology, is the author of >100 scientific manuscripts and book chapters and is an invited lecturer nationally and internationally. He recently finished work as editor/author of the textbook, 4th edition of Scher/Daniel’s Nails. In addition, he has a wife and two children that he adores, as well as two cats, two dogs, and loves music, cooking, exercise, travel, wine, and reading.
