AL ACC RSS: Updates in Cardiac Rehab

The overall purpose of this activity is to update cardiovascular healthcare professionals on emerging evidence, guideline revisions, and evolving best practices across key subspecialty areas in cardiology.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners who treat and manage cardiovascular diseases.

Learning Objectives

  • Review and interpret current evidence and updated clinical guidelines relevant to emerging and high-impact areas of cardiovascular care, including preventive cardiology, cardio-oncology, electrophysiology, and cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Integrate contemporary risk assessment strategies and evidence-based treatment approaches into clinical decision-making to improve prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular disease.
  • Enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and referral practices to optimize patient outcomes across the continuum of cardiovascular care.
