Dr. Jason Miller is a Volunteer Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He also serves as Senior Medical Director for Patient Safety and Quality Improvement for Schweiger Dermatology Group, the third largest provider of dermatology care in the United States.  Dr. Miller received his Bachelor degree from Cornell University, followed by his MD from New York Medical College.  He then undertook his training in dermatology at the prestigious University of Texas Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Miller has over 17 years of extensive educational and clinical dermatology experience.  He serves as an educator to the dermatology residents at the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Hackensack Meridian Palisdades Medical Center Dermatology Residency Programs in New Jersey, where he provides weekly lectures.  His busy clinical practice focuses on a wide variety of skin concerns in patients of all ages, including complex medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology.  Dr. Miller previously served as a dermatology consultant at Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey where he was frequently called upon to see inpatient emergent dermatology consultations.

As Senior Medical Director for Schweiger Dermatology Group, Dr Miller has been able to utilize his clinical expertise to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met during patient care across a large multi-site practice.  He has a particular interest in identifying processes to mitigate risks to patients and in formulating a compliance program around proper use of billing codes.

Dr. Miller has received numerous awards and honors, including being a two-time recipient of the Volunteer Faculty Award from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for his commitment to student and resident education.    Most recently, Dr. Miller received the 2021 Mentor of the Year award from Schweiger Dermatology Group for his work with newer providers.

Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
