Dr. Kautilya Shaurya, MD (aka Dr. K) is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Manhattan, New York. Born in India, Dr. K moved to the United States when he was 14 with his parents, who are also both doctors. He began immersing himself in industries that would later become passions including aviation, fashion and more. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medicine from the University of Miami's 7-Year Honors Program, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then received an MBA from the University of Miami and a medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, completing his dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital. His greatest asset as a dermatologist is his speciality in procedural treatments (lasers, ultrasound, etc.), as well as surgery. Specifically for people of color he is one of the leading practitioners in the Tri State area. Aside from his medical pursuits, Dr. K's investments have led him to grow businesses in real estate, tech, aerospace and private aviation.
