Amanda S. Addis, EdD, MSN, RN, is an Associate Professor of Nursing and Simulation Director at MidAmerica Nazarene University. She has been a registered nurse since 2006 and has more than 18 years of experience in nursing education. Dr. Addis earned her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas and her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her professional expertise includes nursing education, curriculum and assessment, simulation-based learning, clinical teaching, and evaluation of educational outcomes.
