Lakshi Aldredge, MSN, ANP-BC, DCNP, FAANP, FSDNP, is an accomplished adult nurse practitioner and board-certified dermatology nurse practitioner. She has built a distinguished career at the VA Portland Healthcare System, serving both as a dermatology NP and as the Director for the Primary Care NP Residency Program. Her clinical and research interests center on psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, as well as advancing healthcare provider education regarding the critical role of nurse practitioners in dermatology.

A recognized leader in her field, Ms. Aldredge has held numerous high-profile leadership roles. She is the co-founder and past president of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and a past president and past chair of the Nurse Practitioner Society of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA). Additionally, she served as the past co-chair of the Dermatology Specialty Practice Group of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and currently contributes her expertise to the National Psoriasis Foundation APP Advisory Board.

Ms. Aldredge is also a prominent voice in medical literature, having published numerous articles on managing psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Her editorial contributions include serving on the Editorial Board for the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association and acting as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis.

Her dedication to clinical excellence and leadership has earned her several prestigious honors. She received the VA’s Nursing Excellence Award in 2008, the DNA President’s Award in 2015, and the National Psoriasis Foundation's Outstanding Allied Health Award for 2016-17. More recently, her professional contributions were honored with her induction as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in March 2021 and as a Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners in 2023.
