Dr. Rishabh Kala is a recognized leader in epigenetics-driven innovation, with a deep passion for translating cutting-edge science into impactful consumer products. As Executive Director of the Advanced Technology Division at The Estée Lauder Companies, he leads research and development efforts focused on longevity and epigenetics, collaborating closely with brand and product teams to integrate scientific advancements into market-ready solutions.

Dr. Kala earned his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where his award-winning research on the epigenetic effects of dietary compounds in cancer prevention and aging has been cited over 800 times globally. He further advanced his expertise at the University of Michigan Medical School, investigating the biological mechanisms of aging in slow-aging mammals and completing specialized training in Biomedical Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

In 2018, Dr. Kala co-founded Life Magnetics, Inc., and has since served on the scientific advisory boards of several life science and technology startup companies, supporting the commercialization of patented innovations. Prior to joining Estée Lauder, he led the Skincare and Personal Care Division at Genemarkers, where he guided product development and biomarker-based testing for leading personal care brands.
