Laura Bush is a seasoned dermatology PA with 35 years in medicine. She earned a Master of Medical Science from Emory University and a Doctor of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg. Laura has held many leadership roles, including President of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (2023–2024), Treasurer of the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is currently serving on the SDPA nominations committee, a trustee of the Dermatology PA Foundation, and a member of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Coalition. For the past 20 years, she has provided expert care in complex medical dermatology in Fayetteville, Georgia. She also lectures, publishes, and mentors aspiring healthcare professionals. Outside of work, Laura enjoys time with family and is currently pursuing her passion for writing with plans to publish a book.
